Margaret says that Americans are helpful when you're on holiday there
. The context is the USA. The USA = "there".There (pronoun)
is also used very commonly to indicate existence. For example, There is a vase of flowers on the table:
Margaret says that Americans are helpful when you're on holiday
- outside of the USA.
