Neil says "I used to play a lot of baseball." This is the same as:
1. "I used to play baseball often."
2. "I used to play baseball professionally."
3. "I used to play baseball with my team."
Has Neil completely stopped playing baseball?
1. No he hasn't stopped, but he doesn't play as much as he used to.
2. No he hasn't stopped, but he doesn't play as rarely as he used to.
3. No he hasn't stopped, but he doesn't play as often as he used to.
Note the structure as (adjective or adverb) as... (noun) . We use "as... as" to make comparisons. Click on the ONE structure for making a comparison which is different!
